In a significant milestone for Mahindra & Mahindra, three of its SUVs – theMahindra Thar Roxx, XUV 3XO, and XUV 400– have achieved the prestigious5-Star safety ratingin the Bharat NCAP crash test assessment. These ratings highlight Mahindra’s commitment to safety, with all three vehicles scoring five stars for both adult and child occupant protection.
Thar Roxx Sets a New Benchmark
TheMahindra Thar Roxxhas made history by becoming the firstbody-on-frame SUVto earn a 5-star safety rating under Bharat NCAP. This rugged off-roader scored31.09 out of 32 pointsfor adult occupant protection and45 out of 49 pointsfor child occupant protection, setting a new benchmark for SUVs with internal combustion engines.
Strong Scores for XUV 3XO and XUV 400
TheXUV 3XO, an updated version of the popular XUV 300, also performed exceptionally well. It scored29.36 out of 32in adult occupant protection and43 out of 49in child occupant protection. Its sibling, theXUV 400, an electric SUV, achieved an even higher score of30.38 out of 32for adult occupant protection and43 out of 49in child occupant protection.

A key contributor to the XUV 3XO’s high safety scores is its extensive range of standard safety features. The SUV comes equipped with:
