All-New 2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid Set for India Launch on December 11

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) is preparing to launch the much-anticipated 2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid in India on December 11, 2024. The latest iteration of the Camry, now in its ninth generation globally, will bring significant design updates, enhanced features, and cutting-edge technology. The model is set to be locally assembled, signaling Toyota’s commitment to the Indian market. While the new Camry will not face any direct competition upon its launch, it may see rivalry from the next-generation Skoda Superb, expected to arrive in 2025.

First revealed in November 2023, the revamped Camry made its way into Singapore earlier this year as the first Southeast Asian market to get the model.

Dimensions and Pricing

The current Camry Hybrid is priced at ₹46.20 lakh (ex-showroom), and the updated version is expected to see a slight price hike. The new Camry measures 4,920 mm in length, 1,840 mm in width, and 1,455 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,825 mm. Its boot offers 500 liters of capacity.

Globally, the sedan is available in nine striking color options, including Platinum White Pearl Mica, Precious Metal, Attitude Black Mica, Emotional Red 3, and Dark Blue Mica.

Exterior and Interior Updates

The 2025 Camry features a sleeker and more dynamic design. The front end has been reworked with sharper LED headlamps and C-shaped LED daytime running lights, complemented by redesigned C-shaped tail lamps. Other updates include restyled bumpers, new air inlets, and fresh 18-inch alloy wheel designs.

Inside, the cabin offers three distinct color themes: Fromage, Black, and Yellow Brown. The layout is modernized, with an emphasis on luxury and technology.

The petrol engine generates 185 hp at 6,000 rpm and 221 Nm of torque between 3,200 and 5,200 rpm. The electric motor contributes 134 hp and 208 Nm, delivering a combined output of 228 hp.

The hybrid system is mated to an e-CVT, driving the front wheels. The sedan achieves a top speed of 180 km/h and delivers an impressive fuel efficiency of 19.6 km/l.

Feature-Rich Cabin

The 2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid boasts a host of advanced features, including:

  • A 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
  • A premium nine-speaker JBL audio system.
  • Three-zone automatic climate control.
  • Digital instrument cluster and head-up display (HUD).
  • Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
